Ganesha sits in a quiet yet powerful explosion, a metaphor of the big bang questioning the numbers of rebirths consciousness has been going through, including the rebirth of the Universe itself (before the big bang and after the Universe as we know it). Hinduism speaks of infinite cycles called Yugas.
